I'm sure you will all be wondering what this group is about, and I will run through that momentarily. First I'd like to thank the Admins for the Affinity idea and introducing the SWSH competition. I dare say that without it, this group wouldn't exist now. No doubt you will see the other two Affinities popping up with their own groups, raising the banner for their own Affinity, so we should try to raise ours higher.

We are a group who aim to be the best, our affinity will be something the other Affinities will fear, but respect.
We shall support our own with every competition we compete in.
We will discuss, share and appreciate everybody's achievements, be it a new shiny, a clicking record or person goals, and continue to support each other to tackle all competition, and come out the victors.

I will however make a point here in saying, if your only intentions in this group are to post shinies, I would suggest doing so elsewhere. There is already a group for that; see the Shiny Lovers Redux thread, where you can do that. It is also worth noting that while this is an Affinity exclusive group, though I'm sure there will be competition with other affinities, I will NOT tolerate any form of slanderous behaviour towards other Affinities or our Affinity alike.



-You must be of Malachite affinity (Other Affinities have their own groups!)
-You must have All the Newbie Achievements (Clicker, Hatcher, Breeder, Trainer, Feeder, Summoner, Explorer and Battler)
-You must be reasonably active on GPX+



-Please follow the forum rules. Avoid flaming, spamming and double posting (Please edit your posts).
-Please be respectful of other members, anyone breaking this rule will be reported and possibly even removed from the group.
-Please remain repectful of the other affinities. While this is a group for Malachite members; encouraging activity for our affinity, we should keep all competition in good spirit.
-While posting shinies is allowed, please make sure all posts have more content.
-Your application must contain the phrase 'Malapride'
-Do not post in the thread until you are accepted as a member.
-Anyone caught breaking the above rules will be reported.
-Also, if you happen to change your username, please PM me about it so I can keep the list up-to-date.
-New rules are likely to be added regarding contests in the future.
-Most importantly, raise morale and give encouragement to other team members.

I have come to welcome the first group of members who have applied while I was sleeping. These new members are: Obsidian Shadow, Slade Wilson, Sweetie Bloomaloo, and Dragonbreeze! I will also accept os2600, but all future applications must be sent to me by PM, in case any future applicant is reading through the thread.

As for Topic in here, how is everybody's SWSH going, as we Malachites have been in the lead for the past week?

And as a side note, I welcome anyone to create banners and stuff to include in our signatures to show our Malapride! Any pokemon will work, as long as it is green, whether shiny or not!

That's it for me at the moment, I hope this thread becomes filled with discussion and Malapride!

Topic: I posted about it in the Knights thread already, BUT. I am still hunting for my first Malachite shiny. Roggenrola, to be exact. How many eggs have I hatched?

754 at time of writing. I'll update this periodically.

I got my shiny in the hunt on my 2nd egg (three technically since i used hatch all) couldnt decide whether or not if startimg another hunt will matter at this point. So other than that perhaps after the SWSH is over and we get a few kore members we should begin to decide on a fewnthings, like Legendary and non legendary mascots, ranks andother things of that nature.

EDIT: Well I should have signed up again since I hatched a shiny bidoof first egg I obtained...

@ Topic: I'd say my hunt was going really well, i have hatched 13 shinies for the SWSH, but i'm going to keep hatching anyway to see how many i can finish with and hopefully keep the margin of our lead larger, i am but one man though.

I just got my shiny rufflet IMMEDIATELY after being accepted. Not joking. In only 77 as opposed to my 737 for my first SWSH (Bidoof).

@Topic: I'll use the malamagic for the SWSH- 181 roggenrola eggs with no shiny. But even without my contribution, I'm still psyched that Malachite has such a good chanc of winning. Malapride combined with malamagic equals malamastery! Good luck to the other SWSH contestants!

@TheDarkrai- Just a thought, we could have Celebi as a mascot. Its magical, green, and pretty awesome.

So I agree on Celebi for the legendary mascot but we need a non legendary mascot

Also i suggest a ranking system, for instance
Member<Magician<Wizard<Sage<Mage

Also for instance leveling up can ne like the trainer card in game. Like habing certain trinkets, shinies and achievements helpimg you level up, and depending on other things outside of gpx+ can factoe in as well.

Anyway these are just suggestions.

And again, I'd like to welcome another new member to our group, Keruso!

Also, I'd like to point out that as this group is just starting, Jay and I are working to sort out the details and will continue to improve the group later as it becomes more active. As for the mascot/banner for the group, we are also currently working on that too.

For the ranking system, I personally would not like to add it now for two reasons: 1) This group is getting all of the Malachites together, not further separating them, and 2) As of right now there are so few members, that there's no point.
But that's not to say this wont be reintroduced in the future if the need arises.

@Nemu- Our magic worked again, grats on getting your SWSH poke!

I am Slade Wilson, though normally I go by SladinForever. You can call me Sladin or Slade for short. So far I have hatched 4 shinies in 1122 eggs. I am rank 70/100 on Most Shinies Hatched according to the new SWSH page. I am trying for my 5th, that being Roggenrola. Rufflet took the longest and I got sick of the eggs after a while XD I got 2 Bidoofs--I actually have 3 total since I did a Bidoof hunt BEFORE the SWSH--1 Rufflet, and I hope I can get my 2nd Roggenrola before the hunt ends--which the last day is my birthday; turning 22-- This month so far is my record on hatching shinies, so that's pretty cool. I hope to get more before the month ends

Any guesses on what the bonus prize is? I really can't think of anything XD Maybe a voucher? That's what I'm really excited about this month, is the bonus prize
