Nothing is perfect. Nothing is without its problems, exceptions, the odd man out. Every computer has it's glitch, every civilization its genius. It is the very nature this universe. The universe itself is not without its own anomalies. How do I know this you ask? Well, to start, I am one of these anomalies. In fact, I am The Anomaly, the glitch in the fabric of this universe. Now you are asking, This universe? Isn't there only one? True, mere mortals can only exist in a single universe. However there are many others, collectively a sort of multiverse, many connected in some way. Connected to the universe as you would know it are at least two universes, one that would seem almost perfect to some of you, some of the religious of you might call it heaven. Another, one so far from perfect, one so riddled with anomalies that the entire universe rises and falls in a matter of days. To call this place hell would be to soil it's true nature. Even raw Chaos is not as horrific. So, who am I you ask? What does it mean to be The Anomaly? Why should I tell you, a mere mortal, anything of me, possibly the most powerful being among the multiverse and most certainly from this universe? However, for the sake of the story I shall tell you. I am all that is awry in the world. I am the flood in the desert, the one in a million chance that won. I am everything and nothing at once, a paradox. To ease your surely exploding mortal brain, I am nowhere, nowhen, nohow, the Gate and Gate Keeper to other realities. I am Nobody, and this is my tale.
