I just unlocked a couple of the new achievements and I went from 25 to about 1500 prize points. Did this happen to anyone else...?

This set also differs from previous ones in that all Achievements that have rewards only give various amounts of Prize Points, as opposed to different items and amounts of points, so you can essentially choose your own reward for completing any of them.

We wanted to implement some difficult achievements for the very active "power users," and this was one of them. 250k may be hard, but it is very much possible. 100k would be too easy for those who want a real challenge.

Be glad it isn't the 300-500k that was originally suggested. x)

actually its quite impossible for most users. I literally stayed up 22 hours straight on the old system to get master clicker (a mere 12500 inters) at roughly 15 inters a minute. While im sure a few individuals with top of the line computers are capable, the majority of your members wont even be capable of attempting it let alone completing it.

(fyi since the beta i can do inters at about 10x my old rate, so about the max possible even in a full day is 125k)

I stayed up 24 hours to get my 370k. I spent about 3 hours with breaks for food, getting medication etc (I sound crazy and pathetic now lol :c) on my nearing 7 year model laptop. This is one of your crappy stuff.

I'd suggest, if you can sit next to your modem and use an Ethernet cable it might help, idk. I used that and it worked a little bit faster.

Also I can't find any Lillipup eggs anywhere so I give up with it for now, lol. Onto other badges!

I remembered entering a Shiny Scizor and Milotic for weekly hunts yet I didn't get the Unique Entry (0/1) – Use a shiny Pokemon for the Poke Hunt. Is there some sort of bug?

As the original post said, some of these achievements cover data that they don't have archived from before today. I'd presume this is one of them.

Makes sense - though I thought it would be in the same category with the other 3 achievements about Poke Hunt

Wow, this is amazing! My new achievements netted me 177 more prize points in total!

Although...some of the new ones kinda scare me. (you know the ones I'm talking about)

Oh, dear... Most of these achievements made me nearly faint. I mean, come on! One egg shiny hunt? First place in the Poke Hunt 5 times when I can't get that no matter how many times I try? 2 shiny hunts in a day? 3 Explorations in a day? (Then again, if I get lucky I could manage that...) 250,000 interactions in a day? (I suppose I could try for that one after I go back to college; my connection is better there.) But still!

Then again, I was pleasantly surprised by the 218 Prize Points.

Well, if most users can't pull it off, then they don't get the achievement. Too bad; time to try harder. There's a reason it's intended to be a challenge. Having a decent computer certainly helps as you can get 600 interactions a minute no problem.

Heck, I've never broken 40k, so it'll be hard for me as well. But I'll manage it eventually.

Considering that it's so much easier to click now than it was before and that computers are getting better and better, more and more users should be able to do this one. The hardest part is just putting in the time, so a day off from work/school/whatever would be very helpful.

I get what you're saying. And... I hate to tell you, but you simply won't get the achievement, then. If your connection is too slow or computer is too old, then you'll just have to live without the achievement. Other people with less-than-stellar connections/computers have been more than able to get over 300k interactions in one day.

Sorry about that, but it IS an elite achievement. People have done it and will continue to do so, and if you can't, you can't.

Wow, this is great! And I managed to get 15 of them done right away. That brought me up from 6 prize points to 132 in NO time. XD;

Some of these will be utterly impossible for me, but that's alright. I'm glad we have new achievements to work toward. Thank you so much for putting them in.

Awesome achievements. Up to 107 prize points and there is a few achievements within range that I can probably do by the end of the month.

I unlocked 18 and went from 230ish to 553. How come you get that many with just 9 achievements unlocked? o.O

no question, my point was simply that its rather absurd to make an achievement only a tiny percentage are capable of getting. While arceus is super rare, its not absurd cus you CAN get it regardless. This cheevy, most cant.

It's nothing to stress over, if you can't do it - due to slow internet connection or such, because I have been in a situation where the internet was so slow clicking was a drag - then don't worry about it.

Also, it's not literally impossible to get 250 thousand interactions, the "Most Interactions in a Day" stat proves that. What was given as advice already is the way to go about it: set aside a day, spend all day clicking. You don't even need a full day, at least I didn't when I got to 230 thousand. I spent 7 hours sleeping, and of course the daily life things happened such as showering and eating.

It does get tiring and you will get burnt out, but if you want something bad enough, you can do it.

I'd have to agree with immortalwombat10 here. 250k in one day is too much. Lots of people don't have to time to do this with school and parental reasons. I know "trying harder" isn't going to be enough. What a massive let down if you got up to 200k and say your mum or dad came in and turned off the internet on you. That'd almost make you want to quit the game and I'm sure we don't want less users on GPX. Wouldn't you be mad if you somehow managed to have to time to complete this task but then when your near this goal it's snatched away from you. I'd be pretty angry and I wouldn't even attempt it again. Even active users who attempt this and got to a point and had to stop, might even quit.

pleasee understand, both when i got master clicker and when i got creationist, i spent the entire day at the computer in order to get it. So yes, literally impossible for some. This "Advice" is bad advice and irrelevant to the situation.

As far as I'm concerned, the argument here is OVER.

The point of Elite Clicker is to be hard. Damn near impossible, even! It is meant to MOTIVATE those who are interested in getting "all the cheevos" to doing what THEY feel is necessary to get the achievement. Not everyone is going to unlock this achievement. If you don't want to set aside the time to do it--if you don't want to do what you MUST in order to get it--then don't. And don't begrudge the people who DO choose to go all the way for that achievement.

Further discussion on this will result in a 10% warning.

For me, the 250k interactions in a day seems doable... I can average 300-400 clicks a minute, so i would need 800-900 minutes or about 15-16 hours. God I'mma have to plan for this! XD Love the new additions and rewards too! <3

EDIT I was writing this damn post for an hour. I'm slow... whatever discussion went on, I wasn't present for. Just FYI.

edit 2: I would erase this, I guess, but I kinda think advice is reasonable. Not discouraging the achievement. I'm encouraging the use of one's noodle. Just do what you can do with the means you have and don't sweat it if you can't do it.

Yeaaah, I will never get this. I am made of flesh and blood. I need sleep. I need to not be looking at a screen for more than an hour or two (or three, tops) at a time.

If someone is hyper-focused (which I'm not. haha) and not immune to caffeine like I am, all the power to them... I feel like I could get a decent amount of prize points if I could get this down... but oh well. C'est La Vie. Maybe I'll come up with an ingenious way to click someday, but I kinda like my system of clicking.... which as it is currently would never let me get to the achievement's necessary minimum value.

If anyone is strongly considering this achievement, I'm strongly urging you to weigh your capabilities... and have the will to throw in the towel if you feel the need too... It's not worth it if you can't do it in a comfortable(ish) manner. A game shouldn't bring discomfort. Entertainment is the purpose of a game, not stress. I'd also suggest using a day where you have no obligations at all for ~24 hours. Having breaks from clicking would probably be most beneficial. I had to take a break for my measly 43k interactions .___. multiple breaks even. Use a strategy if need be. Do whatever you need to make it fun, rather than just doing it for the achievement and thus making it a "chore". Having fun would be nice, no? Just a thought for those who need to really up their game or anything of the like to do such a thing.

I think if I'm lucky I can do the other ones though. since my first novelty hunt is taking a over year and still going on it will be awhile though. If I get "good luck", I will buy a lottery ticket that same day. <___< But if I get too lucky, I'mma start worrying about getting struck by lightning or eaten by a shark...or maimed by one.. eh, it would still suck regardless. xD;
