We are a group who aim to be the best, our affinity will be something the other Affinities will fear, but respect.
We shall support our own with every competition we compete in.
We will discuss, share and appreciate everybody's achievements,
be it a new shiny, a clicking record or person goals, and continue to support each other to tackle all competition, and come out the victors.

If you wish to spread the Mages spirit, here is a list of green shinies for you to hunt!
Many thanks to Commander Wymsy for putting together the list for us to use!

-You must be of Malachite affinity (Other Affinities have their own groups!)
-You must be reasonably active on GPX+



-Please follow the forum rules. Avoid flaming, spamming and double posting (Please edit your posts).
-Please be respectful of other members, anyone breaking this rule will be reported and possibly even removed from the group.
-Please remain respectful of the other affinities. While this is a group for Malachite members; encouraging activity for our affinity, we should keep all competition in good spirit.
-While posting shinies is allowed, please make sure all posts have more content.
-Your application must contain the phrase 'Gibleface'
-Do not post in the thread until you are accepted as a member.
-Anyone caught breaking the above rules will be reported.
-Also, if you happen to change your username, please PM me about it so I can keep the list up-to-date.
-Most importantly, raise morale and give encouragement to other team members.

Welcome to the new member; Me llaman Cris, and a warm welcome back to Velocity.

Members may now post as they like =]

With any luck old members from the original group will join back and we will attract some new Malachites into our Chantry. I will in the future be updating all the first page graphics, adding a new logo and headings and eventually will add new contests when i have everything else organised.

I am also looking for an Archmage who will be ordered with keeping the board active in my absense, if anyone is interested please PM me with Archmage as the header with a descriptive paragraph as to why i should choose you as a Archmage etc etc. Please don't be disheartened if i do not choose you, i may open up additional spots as the group flourishes.

This Pokémon was egg #211 in Velocity 's 7-day site-wide shiny hunt started on May 14th, 2013.

Always a nice feeling finishing a SWSH. Guess I'll be moving onto Cyndaquil. Good luck to all participating and welcome new members.

Wow, Me llaman Cris and Velocity, that is indeed fine luck. I've only hatched 46 Aron so far. Blame this Explo I'm on; especially task 10. Explos requiring certain 'mons to be in your party + SWSHs = one frustrated (and irritated) MAE. Hopefully, I'll be able to hatch a shiny soon. I just want to finish this Explo so I can have more party space for SWSH eggs...

Congrats on all the shinies guys! I'm currently on 371 aron, i should really crack down and hatch more but ive been pretty lazy this week.

Oh! i've updated the banners code just now so that they link to this thread rather then the old mala thread, so anyone using the banners if you could update them that would be awesome.

Lastly, please join me in welcoming Teen Bulma to the new Malachite Mages ^^

Oh, did anyone get any good shinies during the past two days? (I was so surprised to see two x3.5 days in a row!)
I managed to get a Meinfoo, Cyndaquil and Onix. I released the Cyndaquil though, felt bad that I'd hatched another one.

It's a little disappointing to see how little people are clicking today, I was hoping to hatch the last shiny for my first full box, but it's going rather slowly.. and I'm only hatching Magikarp.
I'd hope you're all clicking and clicking back as much as possible!

Hello, fellow Malachites and congrats on your shinies



He's the only one I've hatched for the SWSH so far :c He was egg #513 and I hatched him a week ago. Right now, I'm hunting Aron but even after cracking open 744 Aron eggs, I still don't have my shiny Because of this, my shiny ratio is 1 shiny in 1300+ eggs or something.

What kind of black magic do people use to hatch shinies in under ten eggs because I would really like to learn that.

I got a random Sh. Pichu and Sh. Patrat during my low-maturity-egg-hoarding for Creationist. That's 2 shinies in 250 eggs! Meanwhile in my SWSHs... *cries*

Take away/lessen the multipliers and everyone suddenly goes away... it's so much tougher trying to hatch Aron because it needs 8,960 maturity points adlfjadfjd;fwoia

Also, I saw this status message a while ago:

Team Malachite: Flaunting the worst luck this SWSH

And I heard my 512 regular Cyndaquils and 744(and counting) regular Arons agree. Notice how we hatch the most eggs yet we have the fewest shinies T_T

Everyone has bad luck every once in a while, don't stress! Only recently did I actually start hatching shinies, my luck has increased.

But, I'm sure you'll hatch it soon! I think a good thing for the future would be to hatch the one with the highest maturity first.



Yeah, I have noticed that we're not doing so well in that aspect.. and I'd hatch more to help, but I don't want to take away shinies from the people who might not have hatched one yet.
So I'm a little conflicted, help my affinity win and take away shinies, or be no help at all and wish everyone else luck with hatching.

When I'm starting to lose motivation, I just remember that a fellow Malachite user took 1400+ eggs to hatch a Shiny Cyndaquil. That way, I'll realize some people have it worse than me and still prevailed xD Although hopefully this hunt won't take that long...

I wouldn't call 3/3 shinies "no help at all" though After all, you've been more helpful than me in that aspect xD

Yeah, but I could probably hatch more. So I feel like I'm not doing enough; where as the other affinities (and ours? I'm not sure, I haven't checked their pages) are hatching 8 or so shinies. It makes me angry when they do,


But that aside, I hatched my shiny magikarp, so now I'm doing TBD.
First time actually doing it; and I feel like I'm gonna regret it, hahahaha.

...I just checked and it turns out that there are three Malachites in the top five of the Most Shinies Hatched stat But the whole list is mostly Azurites and Wulfenites which is why we're losing... I'll probably be really frustrated when the July SWSH comes because that's college application season in my country and I'll be so busy I'll probably only have time to hunt for one shiny while most people on the site are on summer vacation and will be hatching shiny after shiny

I'm at the last task of my first round of TBD right now, and yep, I regret doing it xD But I'm gonna have to do it again two more times for That Everlasting Flame... sigh.
