Hello lovelies~ How is everyone? Congratulations to everyone who participated and/or completed the Sitewide bimonthly Scavenger Hunt. We finally have a bit of a lull with new Pokémon news. It gives us time to complete anything we want in the currently released games before the deluge of new things come out. I've been working on my living dex in Home. Does anyone else have a current Poképroject?

This Month's Explorations:

Protecting the Fragile: Keldeo

Finding Your Muse: Meloetta

Hidden Ruins: Regirock, Regice, Registeel

Tour of Illusions: Raikou, Entei, Suicune

Staff Birthdays: Letan on May 16th

Switch News:

In Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you can get Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup statues once you can access Mystery Gifts by using the code: BDSPUNDERGR0UND (Expire May 21, 2022)

In Pokémon Arceus: Hisuian Zoroark - Baneful Mask and Hisuian Growlithe Kimono Set will be available via Mystery Gifts (from internet) until May 9, 2022.

In Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you can catch Arceus if you have save data from Pokémon Legends Arceus. You need to have completed all the main missions in PLA and have the National Dex in BD/SP. Then you can return to your bedroom and receive the Azure Flute.

Please head on over to Jen's Community Thread for fun, conversation and speculation!

The event last month was a lot of fun! Especially appreciated the guaranteed coin with every hatch instead of the high chance.

No poke-projects for me right now, but I might try to fully complete the Pokedex in Legends: Arceus if I ever get the gumption.

I've been passively shiny hunting in PLA. Hopefully I get things I have been coveting for a while!

Really enjoyed the event too even if I couldn't participate as much as I wanted. Good luck to everyone with whatever the SWSH may be!

I also liked that the last event had a guaranteed coin. Makes it easier to plan for that last few to reach one's goal.

Hmm... Suicune time!

Regards,

Oh heck yeah, gonna be able to get another try at a shiny Regirock!

and it was definitely fun having a guaranteed coin, it made it much more lax to actually join in during the event!

Happy May everyone!

All my Poke-projects are just GPX related for now - but this month will let me cross two more explorations off the road to completing them all! And I'm looking forward to finally filling that gap in my PC boxes that's just waiting for Raikou!

Looking forward to another SWSH later on this month also!

SUUUUPER late BUT here is the theme we will try to pursue for this month's SWSH!

Sorry y'all, I don't really have a lot of time these months. It's been like this for about 3 months now, please someone come save me.

IN THE MEANTIME THO', I do have some free time to post this so... Hopefully you guys will be able to look at it and vote for it when the time comes!

Again, terribly sorry for the tardiness :'(

Not gonna be late this time!

Results came in for the next SWSH and I just want to say:

THANK YOU EVERYONE for keeping this small tradition going. And I'm terribly, terribly sorry for not being able to update the pre-poll or the banner before. My deepest and most sincere apologies.

HOWEVER, I am not late this time so here, so here, have a reminder about the reason behind the trio of this month:

As you may know, in the month of May we have the Endangered species day (this time is the 20th of that month!) and the Pokemon represent some of the endangered species that we currently have: Rhyhorn representing rhinos, Oranguru for orangutans and Wooper for Axolotls (particularly the mexican one, Ambystoma mexicanum). If you want to be more specific, you can think of Rhyhorn representing the Javan Rhino (Rhinoceros sondaicus) while Oranguru could be the stand-in for the Tapanuli orangutan (Pongo tapanuliensis), these two being one in the top ten list of endangered species, unfortunately.

We also had an Earth Day Event last month, so it kinda seemed like fate that we got these event, huh? (Though, if the Discord people have taught me something, is that y'all just crazy about Wooper, but shhh)

Also huge shout-out to Twili Terror for creating the theme!

Also also, please enjoy the sick poster that Gaj created!

And that's all. Enjoy the SWSH guys! grin.gif

And remember to drop by on Discord to see all the shenanigans that may or may not occur.
Happy hunting!

Back from a fairly long hiatus from the site, and I just have to say, I love the theme for this SWSH! Really neat idea!

Man, my brain has been on June mode since my finals ended last week and I keep forgetting it's still May, lol.

This month was really fun, but I have even higher hopes for June!
