Lessee.
First I ever played was Blue, which was my brother's. On his old Game Boy. Next was Gold which I borrowed from my friend, along with his GameBoy Color. First one I owned was my Sapphire, followed by Ruby/Sapphire Pinball. -------------------- |

I got Blue for Christmas 1999. I LOVED it. And I think it's sooo charming now, with how old it is.

My first on was pokemon red. it was my brothers and he hacked the hell out of it. i loved it still though, even though he had a lv100 team before even getting to cerulean city. i still think its around my house, somewhere...i'm gonna dig it out and play it again, to experience that childhood glee once more.

Pokemon Red! AND What did you think of them at the time? Now? It was the most amazing thing ever made. Now, ti's still totally awesome. Gold gives it a run for its money, though. -------------------- |

What was the first pokemon game you played? Owned?
Pokemon Blue. I had that, and my sister got Red. AND What did you think of them at the time? Now? I loved that game a lot. It also brings back a lot of memories, such as all the stupid things I did in there, and how much of the stuff I figured out on my own since that was before I had a computer at my house(let alone internet there). I had a strategy guide though that's now pretty much destroyed, but I still have the remaining pieces stuck in my desk drawer(my sister and 2 of her friends destroyed it, if you must know). As for the actual game itself, it was the first RPG I played, and while I couldn't understand all the mechanics in it due to lack of internet access, I still had fun with it. I loved how you could raise those Pokemon and do battle with them. As for now, honestly, these games were a lot more fun back then than they were now. Yes, I understand RBY battle mechanics now and can actually battle on Stadium 1 with them and win some matches, but...the games seemed to have lost some of the spark they held back then somehow. I still love the first games a lot, and yes, they were remade into FrLg, but there's enough differences between the originals and them for the originals to still be rather enjoyable on their own(I still have my blue cart actually). -------------------- |

Pokemon Crystal, I got it in the package with my first Game Boy. ^__^ AND What did you think of them at the time? Now? Crystal wasn't my favorite game (although it was one of the best, I totally admit), but it was the thing that got me into Pokemon in the first place. If I hadn't of liked it, I would have gone to Mario or something else like that and never liked Pokemon in the first place. -------------------- |

What was the first pokemon game you played? Owned?
My first Pokemon game was Pokemon Yellow AND What did you think of them at the time? Now? As a child I had loved the game. I had played it many times and always brought my gameboy around with yellow. Now, I still love the game but I just have not as much time for it. But sometimes when I do get my gameboy out with yellow, I feel the thrill of playing it again. Q: What was the first pokemon game you played? Owned?
A: I first played Gold in a friend's GB, but the first game I owned was FireRed. Q: AND What did you think of them at the time? Now? A: When I was playing Gold, I had no idea how to play it. I just walked around and did random wild battles. Gold was the game that introduced Pokemon to me. Now, I love Pokemon Gold. -------------------- |

The first Pokemon game I played and owned was Pokemon Blue, I still have it with me, and I still love it. It was followed by Pokemon Red and Yellow, respectively.
