Wow, nobody posted a single comment about this? Jeez...
Well, let me just say congratulations. That's a really solid team right there. They cover for each other very well, and I think this would do you well. Some stuff you may want to consider: - You may want to swap out Froslass for Gengar. It's got almost the same set, and can do the job a lot better. Also, you get Hypnosis, Focus Blast, and Explosion at your disposal. - You have three Pokemon (Skarmory, Froslass, and Heracross) who have a Fire weakness, which is bad in the case of Infernape, CS Heatran, CS Garchomp, etc. However, if you do end up taking out Froslass for Gengar, you won't have that much of a weakness anymore. - If you go with Ice Beam over Thunderbolt on Starmie with that EV spread, it can be a deadly Garchomp counter. Assuming you have 31 IVs in at least Hp, Sp.Atk, Spd, and Def, you're guaranteed to out-speed and OHKO Garchomp, as well as survive one SD boosted Dragon Claw, without Life Orb. That's all that really comes to mind. Good job, and good luck with your team! This post has been edited by Pokii: Jul 29 2008, 01:45 PM -------------------- |

I agree with pokii you should probably swap out froslass for gengar it doesn't get STAB ice beam but it does get focus blast to get oppossing blissey, tyranitar, weavile, ect. plus you can use hidden power if you're really desperate for an ice move.
You may want to consider puttting a few defence EVs on blissey so it doesn't get screwed if you face a mixed sweeper. I don't really see the need to have speed EVs on skarmory. Apart from those points it's a good team. Well done! -------------------- |

I noticed, as I progressed with this team on Shoddy(where I practice before I finalize teams), that Froslass can't get a decent switch-in either, which is pretty sad. I was considering CB Shard Mamo, but that'd just be too much physical attacking on my team and 0 special attacks. I'll try a Gengar. This is the moveset I can come up with "off-hand":
Gengar@Focus Sash Timid - 6 HP/252 Sp. ATK/252 Speed [[Levitate]] Hypnosis Shadow Ball Focus Blast Ice Beam I chose Ice Beam because it does the same thing HP Ice does, but Ice Beam has more power. |

God damn...I so hate that. Besides the fact Gengar can't learn Ice Beam(Ugh...), is the moveset good?

Life Orb is another option to that Focus Sash, for the extra power (which Gengar is devastating with) if you're ok with the recoil. -------------------- |

If Gengar gets a fairly safe switch-in, then I'd be very fine with Life Orb, but I'm not for sure.

Well, Gengar's immune to Normal, Fighting, and Ground type attacks, the latter two being extremely common in the OU metagame. You'll get plenty of opportunities to switch him in

Seously though, def. Evs on the blissey are almost essential now, so you should probably take some offf of the spec. atk.

Most threats out there now are Physical, and Blissey has horrible Def, so it really needs the EVs. You don't have to really worry about Sp.Def on Blissey, since it already has an ungodly base amount. You can still invest some in it if you want, but maximizing Def should be a priority. This post has been edited by Pokii: Jul 30 2008, 10:28 AM -------------------- |

Ungodly base amount mixed with that whorish HP. 135 really isn't that good until you see the 255 in the HP.

Ungodly base amount mixed with that whorish HP. 150 really isn't that good until you see the 255 in the HP. Lowest Hp it can have is 651, highest is 714. Either way, Blissey's a monster when it comes to Hp -------------------- |

Like everyone else said replace icebeam with thunderbolt. And i'm a little iffy on focus sash because unless you're using gengar as a starter it gets ruined by spikes, stealth rock. Plus with gengars immunity to normal, fighting adn ground (plus three resistances) you can almost always get a safe switch in. And yes defence EVs on blissey are a nessecity. -------------------- |
