Hello all! How is everyone this fine September? Congratulations to everyone who completed (or participated) in August's Scavenger Hunt. Is everyone looking forward to playing a Pokemon game on the Switch?
Reminder: Voting on the 'Wanna Make Me' Contest submissions begin on Sept 3rd. Is everyone excited? This month's SWSH has a set theme so there won't be a vote for this month's SWSH Pokemon. Good luck everyone! This Month's Explorations: The Wings of Destruction: (Yveltal) The Antlers of Life: (Xerneas) Guardians: (Lake Trio: Azelf, Mesprit, Uxie) Diamonds are Forever: (Diancie) Trinket Makers: Still accepting only October Trinkets for the October set. Please do not submit any Trinkets that do not fit the October Theme. 3DS news: Latios and Latias will be available at participating Best Buys between September 2-29th. Please head on over to Jen's Community Thread for Fun and Conversation. -------------------- Please use the Help Page and appropriate Help Forum instead of PMing me. Wait, it has a theme??? I've never seen THAT done before.
Ended up running out of time to get my contest idea down on paper because I was preoccupied with too many other things. One of which being my crippling fear of failure. -------------------- |

Wait, it has a theme??? I've never seen THAT done before. We've had them a handful of times before! The Oricorios, Burmys and Flabebes were all staff-picked, as were a handful of others iirc. It's usually when the staff have predetermined what Novelty they want to release as a hunt reward, so they can make sure its non-Novelty counterpart will be hunted. So I would bet money that this month's hunt will be the three Pokemon that are options for the design contest. -------------------- |

I honestly thought a small crowd of members convinced a larger group to vote on them just because they thought they were playing a funny practical joke. Good to know, though. -------------------- |

I'm quite looking forward to it, yes Finally a Pokémon experience I can share with relatives. I'm gonna make a random guess and say these 3 are related to the contest submissions. I don't remember ever hunting Swablu, Psyduck or Vanillite. If that's the case, then I'll have 2 out of 3 to choose from as I remember hatching a shiny Psyduck sometime ago. -------------------- |

Definitely doing the Yveltal/Xerneas explorations this month, will have to start one when I get some of my legend eggs hatched. Can't wait for the SWSH, very excited to see what is picked for the month.

Didn't expect those SWSH choices at all and honestly thought we were going to get the base forms of the things we're voting on. Since I already have a shiny Wigglytuff, I went for Sunkern this time around. Only got 1 Meadow Shard so far..Might grab a few Smeargle if I manage to hatch my shiny early.
Interesting choices, overall. Wonder why those three got picked? -------------------- |
