Site age: almost two years. Two more days, and it'll be 2 years exactly. Same on GPX+.
Real age: 22; been a fan of Pokémon since '99, thanks to two of my old classmates when I was in 4th Grade. seventeen. eighteen in august.
i've been a fan ever since it first came out, but i think i 'officially' got into it when burger king had the toys in the kids meals. i really don't care who finds out i still like it, but i don't go around priding it like an annoying nerd. actually, i sometimes TRY to hide it so i won't make contact with other people who like it. -socially awkward- xD --------------------  telling me that basically you're not looking out for me everything is true to me, never words where you would see |

25 - been a fan since the first episode aired & video game released on classic Game Boy.
Hadn't been keeping up with the series all these years though sadly. Seen bits an pieces of most series. Am following Best Wishes religiously though - would be ahead by watching the Japanese version if wifey didn't prefer the dub. :p Quite surprised how badass Team Rocket is (finally) these days. Really like what they've done for them. Great stuff. Overall good series but it's fun as well to make fun of Ash's stupidity. "Imma gunna throw this grass type against your fire type then use this water type against your electric." "ZOMG how did I lose?!" >.>; And what? He's like... 24, 25 if each season represented a year like usual television flows? And how the hell is Pikachu ever losing? It's got to be like level 1 million by now. lol --------------------  |

Real age: 14. And yet somehow 6 foot 1... Fan since kindergarten maybe? Yea, sounds about right. Wasn't even a real game that got me, it was a copy of sapphire on a cartridge with 3 gameboy games and about 100 or so NES games. I feel like Im the oldest pokemon fan alive!..Been interested since yellow came out in the UK. I wonder if anyone else is anywhere near 57 !
At the time yellow came out my best freind (about 18months younger than me (shes passed on now) introduced me to pokemon because her boys were interested in it. I was hooked almost straight away and her boys helped with the fiddly bits. When he was 17 (hes now 25) her middle son asked me (at 49) where his life had gone!!! My best freind I have now has recently become 25 but I guess I think like my mum that there is joy in every ages. |
