Oh, I'm always getting mad at games. Especially Smash Bros. (mainly when I play one-on-one with my brother). Also, Master Core is TERRIBLE. The main thing I get mad at during games is when I have to keep doing something over and over and over. I also get mad if something really cheap happens. When I've been in first place on Mario Kart the entire race, then I get hit by something at the end and get passed up, that annoys the crap out of me. I remember getting really irritated with Skyward Sword. I don't quite remember what got on my nerves, I think it was the Silent Realm thing. Though there may have been things that annoyed me more than it normally would have since me and my brother were racing against each other to beat the game first (and I won, but I probably ruined the game for myself for not taking time to check out everything).

Oh, jeez, the Silent Realm is literally the definition of EVIL. And for me, in SS, if I ever got mad at something, I'd either run in swinging my sword like a madman or stand still and just slash at nothing, again like a madman. -------------------- Light is a spectrum. I try not to get terribly angry at games any more after I raged at Sonic Unleashed for it's awful Werehog levels. I had been having a bad day and having to put up with those levels while I try to enjoy the day levels wasn't particularly helpful. Threw my PS3 controller on the ground and part of the plastic broke off. Couldn't get it back on so now it just haunts me as a reminder to not get angry and that it could have been worse. :/ So whenever I start getting mad at the game I just switch to something else or put on some music.

When I play Fire Emblem games 1-11,or 12 and 13 with perma-death on.On FE7,I spent about a week raging over how Legault kept dying in Battle Before Dawn because I was trying to keep him alive for the Fell Contract.I was so angry I ended up just letting him die.
Also, the insane platforming in Crisis City (Classic and Modern) in Sonic Generations.I keeping falling every time I try to get this one red ring in Classic.I even need the Bubble Shield! -------------------- "Getting some exercise, are we?" GPX+ Pokemon (click to show ) |

I get mad at games on a daily basis.
My most memorable maddening gaming moment was in Tekken 3 (a little old school xD) a long time ago. I couldn't beat this one guy on a harder level. I got to the point where I had been playing so long I had this huge blister on my thumb and I got to the point where it was too painful to play. I threw the controller down and turned off the game. I lost all my progress on that difficulty. Boo. Other games that stick out in my mind that I got sooo mad were FFX, Ragnarok Online, and Mario. Not terribly difficult, I know, but I get frustrated easily. -------------------- |

Smash Run in Super Smash Bros. 3DS really gets on my nerves. I go in, with a fully defensive character, and things like the Clubberskull, Bonkers, Darknuts, and the Polar Bear still do unfathomable amounts of damage and take ages to kill. Even at 30% they send me flying halfway across the screen to the point where they despawn.
There's a tip that says to use powers early. Why on EARTH would I use all my powers early on knowing that I'm probably gonna run into one of these powerhouse enemies? Even my highest level Horizon Beam takes two or three uses to take down some of these characters. Why Nintendo would put such overpowered enemies in the feature is beyond me. And that's not even counting the other enemies. Sometimes I feel like a pinball, being bounced between enemies. On a side note, I officially despise the Bullorb, or however you freaking spell it. I was just killed three times in a row by the same attack while only having roughly 49% after the attack had hit. When playing Ocarina of Time, I get mad if I can't defeat a certain enemy after dying a bunch of times, or if I get lost in a dungeon with absolutely no idea how to progress. Other than that, I don't really get mad because the other games I play are mostly music and dancing games.

I've been playing Hyrule Warriors in Adventure Mode a lot lately and trying for A-ranks on all the battles. And some scenarios have criteria that make that REALLY *** hard. *glares at the Fake Difficulty Rogue Forces Cuccos* Those are probably the worst, the RF Cuccos. Basically, some scenarios have a pair of gold ones show up and start fighting in one of the keeps. You have to hightail it over to that exact keep to stop the fight (usually by beating the *** out of them), and they take for-***-ever to kill, because they take FAR more hits than should be necessary to go down. If I'm playing as a really strong Warrior, like Ganondorf, then they're not much of a threat. Anyone else? *scoffs* Good luck. Especially if you're playing as one who doesn't hit all that hard. And the Cuccos also deal crazy amounts of damage (~3 and 1/2 hearts) which makes staying under the damage threshold really hard. You pretty much have to take them out with ranged attacks/items or block/dodge like a madman/woman.
Some other things that make me in that game are: allied Captains being suicidal and trying to take on enemies that are WAY too hard for them, which means they get their ass kicked and I have to stop whatever I'm doing and go save them. As well as allied Warriors who are too cautious and won't go after high-priority targets like enemy Warriors (and I usually want them to do that exact thing as well, which ends up eating tons of time if I'm trying for an A-rank), and scenarios where you have to take out two armies (and no matter which side you take out first, the opposing side gets a morale boost, which makes them hit harder and take less damage. "Dash gallantly into battle!" (Lv. 2 Summoning Gate battle), I'm looking at you here. ) tl;dr: HW is a great game, but it can get infuriating at times. -------------------- I'm also known as Queen_Lugia on SPPf, and Queen-Articuno on dA, as well as a former aspiring trinketer on GPX+, a proud TheRunawayGuys fangirl, a proud participant of Extra Life, and proud supporter of TwitchPlaysPokemon.

Actually can't remember the last time i truly lost it at a game, i'm not too easy to anger. but i am very easily irritated, and easily bored. I am the first to give up if a level is too difficult or repetitive. I don't have much willpower when it comes to video games unfortunately (maybe that's why i'm bad at finishing them <<)

Expanding on my HW post earlier, I have to say, the Lv. 3 Baton scenario (where you have to A-rank it to get the Lv. 3 Baton, mind you) in Adventure Mode pissed me off to no end, mostly because of my side losing morale thanks to getting our keeps taken by the opposing side. I managed to complete it with an A-rank, surprisingly. And as you can probably guess, There Was Much Rejoicing. I was yelling so much, I scared one of my cats. The first time I did the scenario, I just got so pissed off with it that I was all "Y'know what? Fuck this. I need to go maim something now." Which refers to my tendency to go buck-wild with Ganondorf on a relatively-easy scenario to vent my frustrations.

The last time I got angry was when I was playing Ark Survival Evolved (it has dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures). I was riding my ancient dolphin creature through the water looking for oil rocks, keeping an eye out for megalodons (sharks). I managed to mine the oil pretty well for a while. So the last time I mined, it was pretty deep in the ocean, deeper than the other times I mined but I looked around and thought I could handle it. I dismounted and mine a couple rocks and then out of the blue, there was a shark after me. My dolphin ran off cause I set it on passive mode. I tried desperately to swim back to land but the shark was much faster. I died and went back to my house, so I decide to get my other dolphin (I had two) and swim back to where I died to get my stuff back and see if I could find the other dolphin. I didn't, my second dolphin died, and I died again trying to get back home. I just got angry with myself and stopped playing for a while.
