Talk about whatever you want, whether it's GPX related or something going on in your personal life, just be sure to read the rules first before posting. Rules

• Regular forum rules still apply here. Basically don't double post. Don't ask for clicks every time you fill your party. Unless it gets out of hand*, I'm okay with you linking to an exploration Pokemon who needs a specific berry.
  
  *out of hand meaning I don't want to see Pokémon being linked just for leveling or if they need drinks for happiness. These kinds of interactions can be handled just fine by being in your parties and signatures.
  
  
• Do not post your shinies here, there's a http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=5491 for that. Discussing them is OK though! Just make sure you add content to your post.
  
  
• Make sure your post contains worthwhile content. If you're posting an exploration Pokémon to be fed berries then be sure to add other content to your post. Same with discussing shinies. Find people to reply to or start a discussion yourself! Your post must, with the shiny portion and berry feeding hypothetically removed*, not read as if you're talking to yourself. To clarify, your post should not be an out-loud thought to yourself, and should contain more general discussion than just information on your current shiny luck.
  
  *if you were to read your post, skipping over any mention of shinies, the post should still sound like a good post.
  
  If any posts are found breaking this rule then they will be instantly deleted and handed a 10% warn.
  
  
• Do not post your GPX+ gear grinders in this thread either. There's also a http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=49472 for that. This is mostly for raging at staff or site events that you don't like.

Monthly Raffle

Nominations are now gone, and I'm using post count to determine how many entries you have into the raffle. The first 19 posts you have will count as one entry, and every ten after that will count as an extra. Think of it as the first number of your post count is how many entries you have. To see what your post count is, click on the number of replies any certain thread has. Nothing else on the site will influence the amount of entries you receive, so if you'd like a chance to win, then post here frequently!

The raffle is what chooses who gets to choose what's in next month's egg distribution. There are no other site advantages other than that, and even then the whole site gets a chance at that Pokémon that you chose!

How to get an egg from this event

• You must keep at least one slot open in your party.
• You MUST have logged in sometime on GPX+ in the last two weeks.
• You can not be in the restricted group.

IMPORTANT EVENT NOTES

1. No, you do NOT have to be online at the time I am sending out eggs.
2. These eggs do NOT show up in the Lab for the event. They are sent out randomly.
3. There is ONE set shiny for each Pokémon, but every other egg has a regular chance of being shiny.
4. If you obtain ONE of the eggs from this event, you will NOT be able to obtain another one from this same event. This means if you get an egg on day 1 of this event, you can't get an event egg from any other day during this event. By the way, abandoning an event egg does nothing. So if you get one you might as well keep it and be happy.
5. If we find any accounts being made just to get eggs from the event then they will be immediately banned along with your main.
6. If you were a winner of the raffle, your chosen Pokémon will be spawned into your party on the day of the event. It won't be forced shiny, but there's always a small chance just like any other egg! This will not count as an event egg and you can still receive one from the event.
7. There is no guarantee that you'll receive an egg. There have been about 3k users online daily and there are only 1,750 eggs going out, so that at least gives you a little more than a 50% chance at getting something.
8. Eggs chosen will not be available to pick from again for 3 months. If x egg was in the January egg distribution, then it can not be chosen again until April.
9. The event runs at 4 p.m. server time.

Event dates and what's being handed out

• April 1st: No hint this time, since it might not be believed. :P - Hoopa - 350 eggs
• April 2nd: Shaymin - Winner: Vande - 350 eggs
• April 3rd: Landorus - Winner: SilverPT - 350 eggs
• April 4th: Easter Buneary - Winner: Mamanator - 350 eggs
• April 5th: April showers bring... mega sunkerns - Kyogre - 350 eggs

April 13th: Not affected by the distribution, there will be Chatot eggs handed out on the 13th this month with a higher chance for a shiny, so don't forget to leave a spot open!!

I don't know if this Hoopa is real, but I'll leave a spot open for it anyway considering I don't need anything else from the distributions. Hopefully I'll also be able to finish of DotW in a week or two and then I'll probably just start it again straight away :P

Pretty uneventful April planned for me...just work and uni. Though I'm excited to hear something about Sun and Moon soon!

Oh man I'm very wary of everything going on today. A few sites I go to are already doing silly things for April Fools. Really makes me .

Going to wait and see if I get Hoopa before I decide whether or not to use my Legend Voucher for it. I'd like to keep it for later if possible. I seem to always spend my Prize Points so I never save up enough to get them from the Prize Shop XD.

Are you doing a Living Dex? Including all forms? If so, you MIGHT want to use the Voucher anyway, to get a second one to unbind. Or you could wait to see if the new wandering thing is real to see if you can get one that way.

And yes, I'm taking everything today with a grain of salt.

I'm not really doing a Living Dex, I'd run out of room so fast if I did. The only things I really keep are special Pokemon, legends and shinies.

I'll probably use it eventually, but like I said, April Fools scares me so I'll wait XD.

Oh, Korechu is so cute in actual. Plus, well... Electric! I'd really like to see how the shiny form looks like and maybe even hunt it (though, mini-event based hunts are the second toughest hunts after special monthly explorations pokemons). At least I can hope for a shiny Korechu someday, far away....

Oh, and the stats page is definitely off a bit. Quite a few moments after getting my Hoopa egg, the stats page showed 0 users have a Hoopa egg.

Prison bottle is most probably for changing the form of Hoopa (Confined) to Hoopa (Unbound). Can't confirm unless someone actually uses it, but everything fits in perfectly.

Just hatched a Hoopa. It's probably the first Hoopa of the site and the sprite (both forms) looks so cool. Whoever made that one, you did a great job! And yeah, Prison bottle does make it unbounded. And the bases stats of Unbound? That's unique and well... weird. All the surprises packed in a box.

While talking about it, who sprited Korechu? NOM NOM?

Why next year? Is it that experiment where you check how many items you gather in one year? (I forgot who was doing that)

That's it, I'm spending the whole day with 5 eggs in my party to make sure I don't forget the first day of distributions as usual. Korechu is adorable, and I need it ASAP. Is it breedable?

The traditional April Fool's prank on the local radio news hits a nerve more than usual this year. Maybe the terrible economic situation and the constant political bickering has made us all very cynical. (They took a common demand for public service and are pretending the government is giving us the biggest possible means of achieving that. Usually, the prank isn't even related to reality)

But I figured let's post anyway since I've been lurking the community threads for a while now.

Also wanted to add that korechu is very cute!
I would love to shiny hunt it, but I'm not gonna hurt myself by hunting an egg only available through header event. I find shiny novelty hunting hurtful enough already (I haven't got a shiny novelty, but a winter vulpix hunt that I've been on for a while)

So I caved last night and used my Legend Voucher Plus and got myself a Hoopa egg. I have no self control whatsoever XD. It hatched already, which I'm pretty surprised about, and it has good IVs too(it has 130).

Well time to get ready for work. I still have a pretty hoarse voice, hope they don't put me on cash because I sound horrible xD.

Well I'm definitely going for Hoopa today. I've already set an alarm to remind me to free a slot in my party. And then I'll just have to wait for some luck regarding another Hoopa and Korechu. I wonder if there's going to be an exploration for Prison Bottle (and since we're at it, DNA Splicers) or if it's another case of Light/Dark Stones (which I really hope it's not).

I don't think Shears have been added so your best bet is to hatch Mareep eggs to get one.
No, the prize was a Prison Bottle, linked to Hoopa.

Korechu is apparently a new header event or something from what I've read? Don't quote me on that, though.

April 1st is the longest day cause on social media it starts around 5pm my time on march 31st (due to japan)
and ends on April 2nd, 12:01PM my time (due to USA)

I just noticed I got my pokehunt result back as well

Now I have 54 prize pts, should be enough for a couple Blue Stones.

I don't notice anything to be different in my inventory so I guess prize wasn't released yet?

Also guys watch out since the admins and mods (and their besties) prolly gonna pull some prank on us. :P
N-A is pretty big on pranks....

Oh well, GPX played a bad April Fool's prank on you. You missed out on the Prison Bottle and it isn't even available in the Prize Shop at the moment. And I am surprised. Is every swishy prize a part of Prize shop for the whole month? Or is the rule broken for only Special Evo items? On regards of Prize Shop, I see Chocolate Bar is available in Prize Shop now. All those who missed out on Chocotank, go grab it till the offer is valid!

I was like, nooooooooooooo, I'm gonna miss Hoopa tonight (because of course) and this prize is worthlesssssss - until I remembered I have two Legend Vouchers Plus, and one of them was specifically for this lil' trickster when it came out. So all is well again. :P Also, Korechu... a fakemon for an April Fools novelty? Very fitting! And cute, too. I hope I get one soon

E: Hahahahahah, I got one as soon as I went page to GPX! Niiice. I was confused as to whether I should look or not - did people who chose 'don't look' get the Korechu too?

Any good April Fools jokes today? The best one I've seen so far was a German Animal Crossing forum announcing amiibo Festival for 3DS, still without online multiplayer. That one was actually believable, knowing Nintendo's weird stance on online stuff.


What else? HOOPA. I hate it that we can't nickname the distribution mon in the actual games, so I've been looking forward to having Jinxie here at least. I also have more than enough prize points for vouchers so the living dex isn't an issue. Speaking of living dex issues, is there any way to get more shears that I missed? (And what's this about Korechu? Can I figure that out on my own or is it as obscure as it sounds to me right now?)

Same. I had two chocolate bars I didn't remember and thought those were the price.

It hasn't and at this point I doubt it will appear. There are some dubious criteria regarding Special Evolution Items and why some are on sale and others aren't.

I hope there will be a way to get more. One thing I've always liked about GPX+ is that it's not impossible to have a living dex, so unobtainable items are a bit disappointing (and I'm not even taking shinies into account yet). Oh well, I was able to get enough dreidels for shiny and non-shiny versions of both mon from the backroom, so maybe if more shears show up, some people will sell theirs.

I'm only saying this because it was highly debated on the last community thread, before we started getting Shears from hatching Mareep. There's no clear criteria that separates Special Evolution Items from Rare Evolution Items. Borrowing the same logic from one of my older posts, if anything, when Prize+ is activated, we should have the Prize Shop divided in: Corruptable Items (Blue Stone, Chocolate Bar, Corruption Orb, Pinkan Berries, Saltwater Bucket and Twinkie) and Special Evolution Items (Weather Rocks, Potato Battery, Snowball, Mismagius Grimoire, Dreidel, Light Stone, Dark Stone and Shears; adding DNA Splicers and Prison Bottle would depend if any of those items receives an exploration), with the last ones being obviously more expensive (75 PP vs 10(?)PP).

Tch, don't make this out to be some decision of policy that they aren't in there. More likely they haven't been added because no-one's actually gotten to doing it yet; I don't think it would be very hard to do. (but if it's so easy, where are they?)

I would agree with that line of thought when they were introduced, now it's been over a month. :/ I also don't think it's hard to do: change the names and items of the sections (following the hypothetical "Corruptible" and "Special Evolution Items" sections suggestion), change the code to include the items to appear when Prize+ is active. I mean, the code is changed everytime a SWSH rewards a novelty (aka voucher)... I don't want this to be seen as gear grinding, I'm trying to make this just constructive criticism (by at least pointing out why/what I think it's wrong). It doesn't make sense for Dreidel to be on sale and others items don't (and I've already made a post about it on March's Community thread). At this point only getting Shears by hatching Mareep isn't entirely fair (not even talking about DNA Splicers).

Happy Fools Day Everyone!

I am so excited for April on GPX because these new features sound amazzzzzzzzzzzzzzin! *happy dances* I can't believe there is a chance to get Hoopa on GPX beginning today and! If we don't get it through the event, we can use our legend voucher for one? Aweeeeesome sauce!!!! *dances some more*

And now there are some new novelties, too? That will show up the same as the Lil Man? Really?! OMG!!!! Please tell me those are permanent additions! I'd just drop if they're only available one day a year and if I miss them today... *stops dancing* But since the FAQ was updated to talk about them it sounds like they're here to stay. Oh please oh please oh please oh!!!!

For my special exploration I opted to go for the Zygarde one since I only did that one once. After that, based on how many times I've done the others, it looks like I'll be vying for Genesect after that. So some very sweet special explores to have fun with. Yay!

And a chance at a super special shiny bird egg on the 13th? Nice!!! And since our chances won't be effected by the event... super special nice! Thank you, GPX and thank you, Jen, for sharing your birthday with us! *happy dances some more*

So, when all else failed, you finally found a breeder (thank you PrincessPoke) and stole away with four eggs in hopes that one is the right one.

Yup. I think this explore is going to be especially tough. Either that, or my month is shaping up to be a real ! *eek*

Thank heavens that my coworkers don't seem to be interested in playing pranks on April Fools.

Work today is so bloody slow. It has been snowing non-stop since I left for work. It is pretty sloppy outside, on the way over this morning a transport truck was in front of me and the backside of the truck just slid onto the other side of the road. It wouldn't have been so scary if there wasn't a truck on the OTHER side of the road that didn't even bother slowing down! That would have been a lovely thing to start off my day with, a bad accident. I'm glad that nothing happened regardless, accidents are scary.

Joy, my voice is gone hoarse again. I was talking to my coworkers and my voice just gave out *grumbles*. I'll be some glad when I can actually talk without my voice cutting out.

I haven't gotten the chance to start my monthly explorations this month. I'll be going after one of the Regi trio first, probably Regirock. I'm off work the weekend so I have plenty of time to get started.

Also Korechu is adorable, can't wait to get one .

Talking about April Fools pranks at the office... my radio station DJs were asking for ideas that they could do to their co-workers. One caller suggested something very, very mean. Mercifully, one of the women on the DJs staff was like... no way! We can't do that!! So the guy offered this instead:

Pack up your own desk and tell everyone that you quit.

Yeah, his original idea was to pack up someone else's desk and, when they came in, give them a forlorn, apologetic look, and tell them that they've been fired. Yeah. Ouch! That IS mean!

I've now come across a regular Hoopa and the Unbound Hoopa. They're! So! KEWL!! I'm making sure to keep a spot (or two) open on the off chance that. And that new little critter.... the cute lil blue guy... he's so! Adorable! I just wanna huggle and snuggle with him!! I hope GPX doesn't make me wait forever to luck into one of those. *wistful sigh*

Speaking of April Fools, I saw a small icon on the play bar on YouTube today. I clicked on it, and it led me to a thing about "Snoopavision".

I have a feeling that this is an April Fools' joke, but that won't stop me from checking out an old Homestuck animation with the (likely fake) 360* vision.

Anyways, as for GPX Plus, I'm on the last part of the exploration, which has a task that just requires luck to get a certain item.

It's a header event, you don't need an open slot for it to appear (I'm pretty sure I had a full party and even sent a 'mon to the Mobile Walker).

I was growing some turnips until 10 minutes of hail last week destroyed nearly everything. :/ Even some leaves on my loquat got destroyed. Now what I really wanted was to get rid of my palm tree, but I guess that that will only be done in September/October. I already planned how to cut it down but the small chainsaw that my grandpa has is in its hometown and he's only planning to go there in those months.

Good thing I used my Legend Voucher last night because I didn't get a Hoopa egg from the distribution. I'm not sure what I'll go for next, probably Landorus. I haven't gotten the Therian forms yet, so at least it'll knock off one of them on the dex.

For the first time all winter, my car has no ice blocking the wheels. It was snowing this morning, but it turned into rain so it melted all the ice on my car. One well placed kick knocked off the rest of it. It is 5C right now, the warmest its been all year .

I finally reached that point that comes in 3 out of 4 explorations where you either sit back and watch paint dry or you go about doing "whatever" to pass the time. I know about Korrechu and it bein a header event, I just don't understand why you all think it's different to another one lol. But for the record, Cycloneblaze logged on this morning and one was waiting in the header for him, so he basically did no interactions to find one.

I'm sure it works the same way as other events, you just have x% chance of it activating each time to visit a different page.

Korechu makes sense as a permanent header event like any other, so it's just a probably based game. And since my luck with mini-events isn't quite as good, I guess it might take me months (or years, maybe) to find a single Korechu. And then someone hatched a shiny Korechu as per the stats page. Time to find that person out and see the shiny sprite for it.

Also Hoopa. Did someone get the portal thing yet?

Well I just finished the Regi exploration and got my Regirock egg *sprinkles shiny powder on it*. The task that took me the longest was the Wailord/Relicanth task. I couldn't find any Wailord in the shelter so I had to level a Wailmer up to level 50 in the Pokewalker. Took forever for it to get to level 50 but I got through it in the end. Relicanth was a lot easier, less experience needed per level.

Clicking so many Pokemon leveling up Wailord/Relicanth gave me a bunch of shelter grabs. I started with 64, now I have 168. I doubt I'll use them all, though eggs are hatching fairly quickly today for some reason.

I heavily doubt the header event will fade away after April 1. To sprite a novelty and a legend and then code for two header events just for a single day prank seems a bit too far-fetched to me. At least, that what seems to me since I am yet to get a Korechu.

And damn, checked all the 30 pages of users online today and found no shiny Korechu there.

My Regirock was a shiny dud and didn't hatch into a chocolate. I did get a Miltank egg from the lab so now I have a 'lab' Chocolate Miltank. I only noticed the Miltank egg because it was in italics even though I've been searching for one. At least I got a few things knocked off my Pokedex the past few days .

Most of the pokemon with italics also have a Novelty form: Ditto with the Book form, Pidgey with Pudgy Pidgey, etc. Plus, the Legendary pokemon that are italicizied have Mega forms.

Stats page says there's a shiny Korechu but an extensive party search yesterday led to no result, probably beacuse that person didn't want to show it to the world. :/ I am getting really eager to see how a shiny Korechu looks like and for that matter, even have one (but well, I still don't have a normal one, it's too much to expect a shiny ).



Of which one has a novelty form as well. I still don't know why only a few Mega-able legendaries are italicized but not the rest or why are those few italicized at all.

I was happy to wake up this morning with a Hoopa egg in my party from the distribution! I still have two legend vouchers from the Hanukkah and Anniversary events so I don't know what to do with them now. Maybe I can use one for another Hoopa rather than waiting for a Portal to show up, and then use the other for a Landorus to have it's Therian form for my living dex. Also can't wait to find Korechu! It looks so adorable

Why? You can even overlap header events. It's not like this is some daily/weekly stuff where you won't get another. And as for as we know, with so many people getting them, the probability could be higher.

And aren't the italicized legendaries the ones that require to be near other 'mons to mega evolve or are those other 'mons?

Oh no, I was referring to my luck with these events. The best I've gotten with header events was probably 2 in 3 or 4 days, not saying that this statistics can't be broken. But I agree header events (specifically Prankster) has gotten (/is) more common since yesterday. And probably it is programmed like that as it is a new release? I don't know.

And no. The italicized ones are the other ones and more surprisingly, one 'mon fulfilling this criterion isn't italicized as well.

It falls under a 'special evolution item', so yeah it does disappear once you use it. You can revert it back to the cuter form without finding another prison bottle though if you don't like the unbound form/don't want to create a living dex.

I've found a prankster, and the header things avoid me with a barge pole. I'm hoping that at least initially, the pranksters have a higher percentage of showing up to give people a chance of finding them.

Never mind me saying about my bad luck regarding header events, I got another one today. Not Korechu, a Strange Portal, but I'm cool with that, since I needed a Confined Hoopa 'cause I can't choose the better one between the two. Also my existing Hoopa caught Pokerus, so yay? I don't know, I'm curing it after it reaches level 100. I'm not too fond of leaving my pokemons alone to get cured by themselves (and it justifies the "Dr" in a way ).

The only header events I remember getting are two Missingno. eggs and 2512345612 salesmen. Don't knwo if that's good or bad luck.

Now that Hoopa is out of the way, I don't really have a preference for any of the distribution eggs, so I'll just try for all of them until I hopefully get one. (Shiny Shaymin is nice though.)

Today has been a pretty eventful day, seems like everything that can go wrong will go wrong. Dropped an egg onto the floor because it slipped from my hands. Egg is soooo hard to clean up. The cushion floor we have has a bunch of grooves in it so it took ages to wipe up the mess. I had another nosebleed from blowing my nose so much. Then I ended up coughing gunk all over my hands and the truck door and had no tissues to clean it up . I think I should stay in bed for the rest of the day, nothing can go wrong there.

No luck getting either of the new header events yesterday or today. Normally I'm bugged by the Salesman at least twice a day, now he's gone into hiding with the rest of them. I'll probably never get a Hoopa from a portal anyways, but oh well *shrugs*. Got my party filled up too, so I won't get a Shaymin egg. I'm really hoping to get a Landorus this time(seeing as I never got Hoopa, the one I wanted most). Still need to get Therian forms, but I'm too lazy to do the exploration for another Reveal Glass.

Back when I played on computer I got 1 a week or so. Decided to use some summoning items for the hell of it, found my Lugia and Groudon fairly quickly. I also used a couple Corruption Orbs as well on them. I had 5 of them that were just sitting in my inventory. Now if they'd hatch shiny *hint hint*.

Checking my inventory, there are so many items that I didn't even know I had . 7 Blue Stones, 6 Soul Dew, 5 DNA Splicers, and 4 Light Stones to name a few. I really should use more of them, when I'm not lazy that is.

I just had problems the last few months, remembering about the event. I was like "Okay, have everybody except that guy. I'll wait for him." Leave the house with the slot still open and come home to see I got the event I already had. But now I have sticky notes to tape under my monitor.
And I'm actually trying to keep a sixth slot open so I can get Korechu as soon as the Prankster appears(if he ever does again)

I got the distribution egg, but I don't need it, unless it hatches as a shiny. And that sure would be nice but we all know the chances of that.

So, I finished my Shuffle Safari tonight when I was able to catch Angry Pikachu in a Great Ball But earlier in the day, after I played the Victini stage, it DIDN'T go away like it has in the past. Instead, there was an Unlock option superimposed over the pokemon. It was giving me the option to pay a Jewel to unlock the stage, but I had none, so I was unable to. Did anyone else have that happen? {I would presume yes, but ...} Still need to catch dog Zygarde, though. Maybe I can get a ton of coins tomorrow on Meowth to buy power-ups for Zygarde.

And also? NCAA predictions are still passable. The team I had winning just made the championship game. And I'm currently sitting at a 44 and 12 record.

That's a valuable information. I predicted just 9 pokemons for next generation but dang it, it's over 10!



I was in a dilemma between Shaymin (hopes of shiny) and Landorus (for the dex) and thought I won't get a shiny Shaymin anyways. I bet Landorus won't be shiny but... the hopes of a birthday shiny luck (yeah, it's tomorrow). Hopes....

And oh, we share the same birthday (a bit early for me due to timezones). Good to know that.

So... I've recently started to put effort into battling on GPX+.
Always had a team that was so-so, but good enough to pass through all the explorations (even if it did take multiple attempts sometimes).
Thanks to Sam's guide, I've switched around some moves and items... and it turns out that my existing team had more potential than I'd thought! I've... beaten Diantha and won me a comb. o.o Next step: tweaking my team, winning more combs and getting that Exp. Share! I'm all excited now.

Looking for Korechu and Hoopa, too. Haven't gotten them yet, looking forward to!

I forgot about the distributions (as usual), but I got a Hoopa with a voucher and I'm waiting for it to hatch. I hope I remember to leave a spot tonight (distributions are at 10pm here in my timezone), it'd be nice to get something on my site anniversary.


Has anyone watched the Ace Attorney anime? The animation was a bit bad at times, but A1 has done worse things. I had a lot of fun; I only played the two first games and I barely remember them, but the character expressions were clearly the same as in the games =P

Another thing I watched yesterday was the Kiznaiver special. Some info about the series, voice actors talking about their characters... and then hilarity.

It does. You can unlock 3 tries for one Jewel, giving you four total plays for the day. After that, it goes away like it used to. I didn't do very well, since the most coins I got on any single level was 2900. Which kind of ended up being just slightly higher combined than I was able to get last week.

My Hoopa didnt hatch shiny, but im happy I got a hoopa atleast. Great for completing my pokedex ^^.

No prankster yet for me, though header events rarely happen for me, or not at all, during clicking.

I got 3700 coins (already subtracted the Moves +5), which is a pretty average amount for me. I'm almost with 65k, so hopefully next week I reach 99k even spending some on the Mega Sceptile Competition and Groudon.

In other news, I'm hoping to get Landorus today. Korechu seems to look weird to me, so I'm not unhappy not to have it.

Well the Shadow Lugia and Fake Groudon didn't hatch shiny, like I expected. I snagged a Giratina egg last night and it hatched with 148 IVs . I never get legends with good IVs here, so it was quite the shock. Most legends I've hatched here barely get 100 .

Still no header events, I haven't had one now in 5 days. Even the Shady Salesman has gone into hiding and he's the one that bugs me the most. Hopefully I'll get a Korechu/Hoopa one of these days.

So, it's been a while since I've posted here. Hello again everyone! My life has been rather hectic these past few months, but hopefully things should be rather calm coming up.

I finished my first run of Death of the World yesterday, so that's exciting! I think it'll be a while before I try again, though, since I missed out on two months of Special Explorations in the process. I did get Hoopa from the event and Korechu from the Youngster, so that's another plus.

Hello! I haven't been active in a while because my normal computer has a messed up charger, so it only works if it's plugged in, and the charger is messed up, so moving my computer can shut it down. It sucks, but it works.

Stardew Valley is addictive. Does anyone else have it? I don't understand why it's so fun, but it is.

Also, does anyone else play Pokemon Picross? I feel like the required number of Picrites to unlock new worlds is way too much, (Some redditor did the math and found that at maximum efficiency, it'd take 374 days to unlock everything playing free-to-play.)

I got another Strange Portal. Looks like the new header events have gotten fairly common, especially how a lot of Korechus are added in the game at the moment. I don't know if this higher probability is permanent or because it just released, but either way, that's fine.

I wanted to complete DotW today, but I was caught up with stuff and considering my schedule tomorrow, I doubt I do much to help it until day after. Coming so close, I can't wait to get an Arceus now. After this one ends, I am not doing another until I have 4 or 5 plates ready. Will add to the thrill guessing which Arceus I get.

It does take a while - right now it's taking me a bit over a week to unlock each new area. I'll get a new one tomorrow I'm okay with that, though - better than rushing through it all at once. I get a small dose of picross every day and a lot every few days. I guess it's not for everyone. better than shuffle at least

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4 definitely started on a high note. A friend of mine told me that the previous part (were Stands were introduced) was the bad one and from there on was all good. At least the first episode confirmed this.

I've already used my bottle, yes! It took over 1,000 Togepi eggs to complete the SWSH this time around, which was really brutal. I hope the RNG is a bit more in my favor in May.

By hatching Mareeps. You can also find it on the Backroom if someone sells it. Hoopa's item is SWSH exclusive at the moment. It will most likely get an exploration.

Korechu is a new novelty pokemon that you can randomly find like manaphy and missigno, by a logo named header; it appears next to the party logo and the weather logo on the website.

Well that was weird. I've been keeping a genetically modified/power-induced Bidofo in my daycare and have been waiting a few days for a Corruption Orb to show up in the backroom. Finally bought one and used my heart sweets to grab both Bidoof looking eggs so I didn't lose it. Turned out they're both Bidofos and I didn't realise it. I really hope a Corruption Orb exploration comes out of the woodwork soon.

Got my Landorus from the distribution .

Started the Zygarde exploration, bad idea. I've been searching for 40 minutes and still no female Growlithe. I have an egg in my party in hopes it hatches female. I forgot that there was a gender specific task until I got to it, whoops.

EDIT: got a level 23 female Growlithe from the Shelter, score!

How do you determine what eggs look like Bidoof? I can't tell any difference, which is keeping me from breeding ans Shiny-hunting them...

And I finished Terminus Cave, yay! Somehow I always manage to get to the "get pokemon X at level 100"-tasks on days with no multiplier - and then proceed to not find them in the shelter, no matter how much I search...
Also, accidetially caught Lugia and Groudon in the lab today... I hate hatching Legendaries on non-multiplier days cause it takes ages! But well, Legendaries are always nice. (Except now I can't proceed with my new exploration because I am locked for eternity with three legendary egga, and my current task requires having three specific Pokemon in my party plus an empty slot...)

Jeeze what's with the lag on the site all of a sudden? I noticed that the site was hanging a bit when I was clicking for the exploration.. Even trying to preview what I wrote on the forum keeps giving me the 'page cannot be displayed' error.

Well all of the Growlithe eggs I hatched turned out male, so I'm glad I got lucky in the Shelter. That was the longest task so far, I've gotten through the interaction tasks fairly quickly.

I caved and bought six more jewels for Shuffle. At least I didn't make the mistake of buying them at the end of the month like last time. With those jewels I can do the special Meowth four times for the next five or so weeks, which is good because the RNG is trolling me big time on the regular Meowth. I know that the Mega Sceptile competition starts this coming Tuesday but is there anything else worth mentioning?

I did Well... it was the tutorial case, I didn't expect it to be super awesome (especially not this one; compared to the later games it felt very lacking when I replayed the trilogy on the 3DS). Looking forward to the more complex cases now, and to the reactions from people who haven't played the games.

Still no header event (not even a salesman), and of course I forgot about the distribution today. I also put my Altaria for DotW into the Diamond Division and lost two hours Listening to old Sailor Moon songs now to feel better.

I purposefully breed it with Machop (although any female common counterpart of the same egg group will do) so I can reduce the amount of Bidoofs/Bidofos to choose from. Average batch of say 4/5, use novel power and picking up your selected Bidofo becomes a lot easier. You just need a good supply of pass orbs and maybe heart sweets as well. There is no visual difference between the two, but by balance of probabilities it can become easier. Otherwise, you can pick them up from the shelter as and when people fail to grab them from their own daycare. On multiplier days it doesn't really work though.

@Vande: Interesting. I bet it's a barrel of laughs depending on who's taking who.

Yeah, I think there were two (Lunarock and the obnoxiously pink one), and then I have the weird German part-popular-music-part-SM CDs (the only way to get Japanese songs without the internet and/or obscure importing knowledge), and we even got a full album with original songs. Heck, I even have that French SNES game. xD Good times.

Well, I've just sent in what is hopefully the final draft of my undergraduate thesis for revisions/comments. Nearly a year's worth of work went into that, between both research and writing. I've still got a few things to handle before finally handing it in on Thursday.

Well I finally got my Zygarde egg from the exploration. It took ages to level my Charmander and Noibat up to level 100, but it's done. It took me 4 hours and 57 minutes, which is my best time for the exploration. Granted, I only did the exploration twice . I still don't know how people completed it in less than 2 hours, you guys must be magical.

At least I'm going to get a bunch of Pass Orbs from clicking so much. I actually ran out of active people to click, I had to go to the All Users tab to finish up the last task.
