If you happen to be referring to the boss in SSE mode that you fight on the Halberd, Kirbyfan, then yes, that is indeed Duon.
*ahem* Even though it's mostly due to me getting to the boss rather unprepared, I thought that Bongo Bongo in OoT3D was difficult. I knew how to defeat it, but ended up getting a Game Over on him on my first savefile.  I managed to beat him on my second save, though. It doesn't help that you end up "bouncing" whenever he strikes the drum/platform you fight on.  Which usually ends up throwing off my L-Targeting and/or causes me to get turned around entirely and occasionally fall into that poison around the edges.

I ABSOLUTELY agree with anyone who said Biolizard! Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was a fun, mediocre difficult game... UNTIL THAT THING SHOWED UP
Also, the freakin' last boss of Megaman Battle Network 5 and Seth from Sphinx. Fwuuuuh...! Other than that... well, I'd say those are the worst. |

I found the boss of MMBN5 quite easy, it was the first time I beat a Mega Man game. Then I went on to thrash Falzer in MMBN6. --------------------   |

Yuan and Botta in Tales of Symphonia.
It took me over a month to beat them, after grinding for 10 levels, and even that was too close to call. After that, I found myself ridiculously over-levelled for the rest of the game. --------------------  |

Well, the hardest boss fight I've ever done was in Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, and it was the third to last boss fight. It was ridiculous, there were two bosses in it, one was a healer and the other was just ridiculously strong! So while you had to take down the healer AND make sure she couldn't cast even one spell, you also had to keep your partner alive so that the other guy wouldn't kill you! It was just ridiculous, took me months to beat....

I remember that the final boss of Jak 3 was hard. But the game was already really difficult in the end.
Primal dialga wasn't so hard if you used the right pokemon. I think final fantasy XIII also had some difficult bosses. But I think it wasn't so bad. Now most of you will not recignise this old PS2 classic, but for those who do... Like all of the bosses I was pulling my hair out on.
Friggin' Champions of Norath and Champions of Norath: Return to Arms... Whether you chose good or evil in the second game, they all were annoying. Good made me contemplate leveling my character up to level cap before fighting any bosses. Evil made me contemplate why the bosses were easy but the levels hard...  This thing, man. In Dark Souls, you can play through the game an infinite amount of times, adding a + to each NG. They stop scaling at NG+7, but that's irrelevant. On my first playthrough, I struggled with the usual bosses; Four Kings, Gwyn, Ornstein and Smough... But on my NG+, I've done everything up to Anor Londo on the first try. But Kalameet. Freaking Kalameet. The new content in general is pretty hard; took me a good while to kill Artorias, but Kalameet is so much harder. He moves faster and hits harder than Artorias ever did, Jesus. I still haven't even beat him, that's how hard he is. --------------------    |
