Even though that was only an attention grabber, I have removed it. I don't like to boast or come anything remotely close to that, so I cringe every time I see the title.

Hello! I've been rather addicted to GPXPlus, once again, for some time now. Hopefully it's not just a phase this time, and I can continue to contribute interactions and daycare eggs to the shelter for a while longer (currently I'm waiting to trinket submissions to open as well). I can be a little shy when it comes to forums, though, which is why you really don't see very many posts from me here. It takes me a little while to warm up to a forum sometimes.

I am rather passionate about creating pixel art, and have been since I was 10 or 11. Over the years I've obviously improved due to "keeping at it," and have conjured up more and more mini-projects for me to do. All of which I usually drop for a while, move on to another, and come back to at a later time. Over the years I have detested myself for that due to the fact that it seemed like I could never stay with one thing, but as of late I've just accepted it as being my artistic cycle.

Sorry for that redundant introduction. To be honest, I haven't really posted in a forum or for a while, so as you may be able to tell, I feel the need to "blab," a little bit, so to speak (In other words I just don't seem to know when to shut up sometimes). I've been withdrawing myself from a lot of things lately due to work, college, and my social life (or what's left of it, hahahah).

Anyways! Once again I am completely digressing. Is anyone familiar with high-resolution versions of existing sprites? If no, one great example I can give is of the inqdividually produced freeware game, "Eversion;" it was originally made in a very 8-bit-like style, most likely to add to the feel of the game. However, a year or so later it was remade by another producer; and with that, the graphics were remade as well. This version of "Eversion" is pretty much known as the "high definition" version because of the fact that the sprites are remade--and enlarged to allow an overall larger screen resolution for the game.

Sorry, I guess you guys didn't need me to tell you that though.

As of late I've been pixelling over existing Pokemon sprites--usually Ruby and Sapphire ones--via enlarging them and portraying the proportions and shading of the original sprite as close as possible to the original.

I have examples from both myself and Negative Diamond, who is now working with me in this thread!

Please note that I allow you to use mine wherever you wish, as you wish, so long as I receive credit. I'm not so sure about Negative's policy for usage, however; you'd have to ask her.

• Iif you see that either I or Negative have three requests currently accepted / in progress, please do not request from the corresponding person (or at all if we're both full). These things tend to take an hour or so, assuming I have the time, and due to the Pokemon / sprite of choice as well.
• Please only request one thing at a time. This means that in order to request again, you must wait for your current one to be completed.
• A single requester has a grace period of a few days before they can request again. Basically, after your initial request has been finished, you must wait at least 2 days until you can request another one (from the person you requested from). This is to allow other people to request as well, and assuming this thread gets inactive with requests, I may temporarily lift this regulation.
  So basically that also means that if you request from me, you don't have to wait a week to request from Negative Diamond. o 3 o
• Thank you! Please do not post a ; post a poochyena instead(the emoticon icon, I mean). This signifies that you have read through the rules, and your request may be ignored if you do not post this (though of course I will still humbly remind you! :> ).
• When you request, please state which one of us you would like to fill the request out. If you have no preference, please also state that and either of us will claim it.
• Please try to refrain from rushing either of us. Innocent inquiries that are simply about the current state of your request every now and then are okay, just don't be too demanding. At the same time, though, with your requests, you do not have to feel as if you are stressing me out or putting too much on my plate or anything. In all honesty, I do these in my free time when I feel like it, as a leisurely thing (While I listen to Mr. Creepypasta's readings on Youtube, hahahah). In other words, I do these for fun, and I do indeed know how to prioritize my time!
