You have to defeat the different groups of the Elite Four in the Battle Tower.

Is there a way to pass on the nature of a parent to the offspring in the daycare? I've been looking for an answer but I can't find anything.

Yes and no. The nature can't get passed down from the parent, but you can buy the "Influence Power" pass power in the "Pass Powers" section of the Shop, and choose a nature for your next-hatched egg. Just make sure you are able to hatch the egg when you buy the pass power.

Trying to use my Zygarde Cube to get the "Complete" Zygarde form, but my dropdown menu only shows Core, 10% and 50%. Is something glitching, or am I doing something wrong? (I have 200 power in the cube.)

Hello. I'm badly oriented at the website and the forum, because I don't know English. Sorry. Hope, you'll understand my question...
Why don't I win the battle? I read the helper and saw the tables already. Look, this is the log of the simple battle. What was I doing wrong? My opponent was NPC Youngster Joey. My first pokemon was Dedenne.

Youngster Joey's Raticate is VERY strong. You should use a Steel- or Rock-type Pokemon to resist its attacks, or have a strong Fighting-type Pokemon to deal super-effective damage.

I'm going to point out an aspect that you can consider in your strategy, and it is highlighted by the bold part. When you swap pokemon, your opponent is still free to attack and since swaps happen first, those attacks will land on the pokemon you send in. The following turn, your pokemon attack each other, and the pokemon with the highest speed will attack first. As a result, you have to expect that your pokemon will get hit by either one or two attacks before doing any attacks after swapping. Whether it will be one or two attacks obviously depends on the stats on both yours or the opponent's pokemon.

Anyway, the point I'm working towards is that you have the option to not swap yourself, but let your first pokemon get knocked out, because then you get to swap for free. The price you pay for doing this is that the first pokemon gets knocked out instead, which may or may not be bad for you. In your particular case, you can tell, with hindsight obviously, that you could have let your Dedenne get knocked out by the Raticate before swapping to Xatu. Because we know that the Dedenne would get knocked out at the end anyway, there wouldn't really have been any benefit to keeping it alive. The Xatu on the other hand, would have had one more turn to attack. That single additional attack might have been enough knock out the Raticate, that is, if it would have dealt at least 35%.

There is another aspect that you could potentially have benefited from if you had let Dedenne get knocked out. It is strong attacks. We know that a Tackle from the Raticate would have knocked out the Dedenne in one hit, but what if it had used Thrash instead? If the Raticate is holding a choice item, then it has to repeat the same attack until it either gets knocked out, is swapped out or runs out of PP. Whether it is holding one of those is unknown for the regular users like you and me, but it is worth considering that it could possibly be holding one. Alternatively you could argue that the AI will sometimes play suboptimally and use strong attacks when that is a bad play. So the point is, you could have benefited from having your Dedenne attacked with Thrash before using your other pokemon. If you did that then the Raticate would have had one less strong attack. I started writing this paragraph before I checked how you would benefit from that, but as it turns out, you could have benefited from that, but only just barely. Your Xatu died to two Thrashes, but would also have died to one Thrash and one Tackle. Your Farfetch'd died to two Tackles, but it would barely have survived one Thrash, meaning that it would still have died in two attacks. But by my calculations, the Xatu would barely have survived two Tackles. So if you had let your Dedenne get knocked out, and it had got knocked out by a Thrash, then you had swapped to Farfetch'd instead of Xatu, then swapped to Xatu after Farfetch'd would have been knocked out, then you might have knocked out the Raticate and had a Xatu with 51% HP left to fight the Ratatta. But this is all very hypothetical, assuming a number of things happen the same and such.

Since you put in the effort to list in detail how the battle went, I thought it would be nice to give some specific pointers to strategy and how things could have gone with some different tactics.

QUOTE(Zyxyz @ Mar 29 2018, 11:43 PM) *
What are these missing eggs that my dex doesn't seem to know about?

When certain alternate forms were introduced (iirc Black/White Kyurem for one; some others also existed but I forget what they were), they were mistakenly coded with egg data even though they shouldn't have it. Only a handful of each egg were auto-generated in each case before the error was fixed, but those glitchy eggs are still counted toward users' obtained eggs stat even though they've been removed from the number of total eggs on the site.

P.S. If you have a large image that is wider than the width of the page, it's courteous to hide it inside a spoiler tag to avoid stretching the page's layout for other users.

Giratina Origin Forme was another; you're never supposed to be able to hatch it, only get it from an Altered Forme, but then they distributed it from one of the community threads...

I'm finally getting into doing explorations and when trying to complete the tutorial (Follow the Corsola), I cannot end the story. I'm on task 4/4, and I actually have 2 slots open in my party, my interaction count is 207/130, and I've tried to end it using the main site and the mobile version. Mobile gives me an error message stating "You did not provide a proper action". Is this user error or have I found a bug of some kind?

I believe there are issues with ending explorations on mobile. Switch over to the Desktop site and end it there.
