I dont know the correct pronunciation of any pokemon from gen 3 up. Thats basically when I stopped watching the show.

Massively. In fact, I probably have them all wrong, since I don't watch the shows.

Arceus never seems to come out sounding right for me. Still haven't figured out how to say the names of the four musketeers correctly. There are more of these than I'd like to admit, now that I think about it.

I almost always mess it up until I hear it on the anime, so I end up really embarrassed... Imagine yelling the answer on, 'Who's that Pokemon?' and end up saying the name horribly wrong.... :P Quite funny to everyone but me.

Oh yes. For ten years I thought it was Phanphy. TEN YEARS. When I found out it's actually Phanpy it blew my mind.
I probably don't say Seviper right. I say it AR-see-us instead of ar-say-us or whatever the movie called it. Ummm there's probably a lot more, and most of them either gen 3 or gen 5 for whatever reason. --------------------        |

oh my lord, is there anyone i don't say right? like reshy or snviy's full form (im lazy right now). I would always mess up untill I would see them on tv and see how it should be said. So i'ts fun when going to league and I call out the cards wrong......

I don't really care how they're supposed to be pronounced lol. But the only mistake I remember correcting myself for was how I pronounced Snivy.

I think up till Gen 3 I didnt made a mistake (or maybe one or two), but Gen 4 and especially Gen 5 have some overcomplicated names that have multiple ways of pronouncing (so yeah, many mistakes). If Im wrong and I hear the pronunciation on the Anime I try to do it right, but sometimes I keep using the wrong pronunciation because its easier ;P
It also doesnt help when English isnt your first language xD --------------------   |

 I've messed up so many pronunciations, I don't know where to start listing from:Meganium: I always said it Meh-guh-nee-um. Apparently, it's Meh-gay-nee-um. Still prefer my mispronunciation, though. :p Lugia: I alternated between Loo-gee-uh and Loo-jea. Wasn't until I saw Pokémon the Movie 2000 that I learned it was the first one. :| Raikou: I've pronounced it like the 4Kids dub did: Rye-kuu. I later learned that it was supposed to be said as Rye-koh. Sometimes I still mess up on this one.  Phanpy: I was like Mikansei on this one. Wasn't until I watched an Emerald LP on YouTube that I learned the correct pronunciation, which still sounds odd to me. Scizor: I pronounced this one as Sye-zor, but it's apparently Sih-zor according to the Johto Journeys season of the animé. A long list of mispronunciations! (click to show) (If any of these pronunciations are correct, someone please mention that in your post and if any are wrong, please mention that as well. I've not seen the animé in years, so Gen III-Gen V was pretty hit-and-miss in regards to pronunciations.) tl;dr: I've pronounced so many names wrong over the years, it's not funny.
