I went to the site and watched MegaMan's video...I'm not too disappointed. I really didn't expect him to appeal to me too much but he has some potential I believe.

Now, with all that out of the way, YES! A NEW SSB!! I can't wait!!

Speak for yourself, quoquo. Megaman will be an excellent addition to Smash Bros. IMO. He's got quite the possibilities for a moveset. Plus, this'll be great news for MM fans, considering how they've gotten screwed over by Capcom as of late.

Isaac as a Smasher, plzkthx. I'm an Isaac fangirl, what do you expect? And apparently Sakurai-sama has recanted his position on AC characters being series reps in Smash now.

I think it was briefly noted (And when I mean brief I mean it was there for twenty minutes then "vanished") that 2 out of 3 characters will be in Smash. One was Megaman, while the other two are Issac and Geno. It'll be interesting if this turns out to be true.

I can say the character choices are great so far, and the art styles fit perfectly for each console.

Hooooooooly shit.

Okay first thing, I was wondering if there were gonna be any differences between versions, and so far the most noticeable one we've seen are the varying art styles. The 3DS gets one similar to the newer Pokemon titles, while the WiiU has similar bloom lighting to stuff like Wind Waker HD. I thought that was pretty cool, I wonder what other differences will show up later on when we're given more news.

As for the newer characters, HELL YES MEGA MAN. I'm very pleased with having Mega Man entering the series. His death animation is awesome, his moveset looks hella sweet, and overall I totally want to play as him. I've probably got my hopes waaaaaaay up right now, but if they ever add another character from the Mega Man series into this, I'm seriously hoping for Zero. I doubt they would, but if they threw him in too then I'd throw all of my money at my screen. The best part of including Mega Man means that we get a Mega Man stage and several redone songs. It was great to hear the level intro , Mega Man 2 intro, and Dr. Wily stage themes in the trailer.

As for the other two, Animal Crossing Villager has a hilariously weird moveset, so I'd be open to trying him out. Wii Fit Trainer on the other hand... my man Adam Jensen can explain my opinion of that in two seconds.

As for the newcomers, I am excited for Villager and Megaman. Two very well thought-out additions.

Megaman is significantly more interesting, because of his lack of physical offenses. Means characters like Pit and Villager can get the upperhand with their reflecting moves.

Villager is a unique concept with so many tools, as well as the ability to store a projectile for later use. My sister really wants to play as him haha.

The Wii Fit Trainer I was against at first, but seeing her playstyle in the Direct, I think I might enjoy playing as her. I'll give her a try most likely.

i watched the trailer and went on the website with my friend and started analyzing every picture, every move, every pixel, right before a major final exam.

If you look at her reveal trailer, it's pretty obvious how she fights. I think it works very, very well, personally.

While the Villager and Megaman are welcome additions, I'm not sure I'll be any good with them, so right now I'm more excited for the Wii Fit Trainer since she seems like a solid character, despite how weird a choice it is to include her. Then again, Ice Climbers, Ness, Mr. Game and Watch, Pit and Snake (and others I may be forgetting) were all seemingly random choices for characters, or at least unexpected choices, and look at 'em; they're pretty damn popular and actually all good fighters. I think the Wii Fit Trainer will be right at home there.

Never thought I'd ever be excited for the Wii Fit Trainer in SSB, but here I am.

The new characters actually all look pretty interesting. Villager is going to be a lot of fun to play as, and Megaman seems like my kinda character too, even though I'm not a huge fan of his games. I'm also loving how his movements have that NES look.

I was skeptical about Wii Fit Trainer at first, but her fighting style is pretty creative. She doesn't seem like the type of character I'd like to play as, though.

I'm also wondering what exactly they did with Bowser - Sakurai said in the Developer Direct video that they made him faster and changed his moves a little, which is a bit concerning for me since Bowser is one of my mains. But oh well, I guess we'll see.

I believe there's a video where they introduce both Megaman and Villager in gameplay as well as show some aesthetic differences, which also show the new Bowser.

The Wii Fit Trainer's fighting style reminds me a bit of Zero Suit Samus's fighting style, now that I think about it.

I too am a Bowser player, and from what I saw, I like the things they've done for him. He's not a sluggish lug anymore, but he isn't godspeed. He's more like "I can walk as fast as Ganondorf's run" and then slightly faster for running or something.

Plus, his new FSmash looks like a dropkick. That will be sweet. Either that or it's his Dash Attack. Also standing upright like that makes him look more imposing as he stands a good head and shoulders higher than Mario.
