Why can't I release Pokemon from my PC? I tried doing so and when I returned the pokemon had returned to my boxes.

Some people have been experiencing this and I found it was due to the same issue. Trying to release an unreleasable Pokemon (Arceus), so make sure you don't select Arceus when releasing. Otherwise if you are having the same issue not caused by Arceus or Pokemon before their 12 hour release period let me know which boxes and I'll take a look.
